Biosafety Office (BSOf): provides regulatory and technical training and support for researchers, manages the select agent program, and supports the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC).

Office for Ethics in Industry Engagement: develops training, assists with developing individual conflict management plans, and ensures compliance with federal and state laws and regulations as well as institutional rules and policies as they relate to externally funded research projects.

Export Controls: provides training and guidance to facilitate compliance with export control regulations including travel and the management of information, equipment, and other technology both on campus and externally.

Human Research Protection Program (HRPP): provides training and support for research involving human subjects including Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocols and FDA submissions and supports the IRB.

IACUC Office: provides administrative support to the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and also provides regulatory training and support for researchers and educators.

Radiation Safety Office (RSO): provides regulatory and technical training and support, supports the Radiation Safety Committee (RSC), and manages all radioactive materials and radiation generating equipment.

Sponsored Research Services (SRS): provides training and guidance for pre and post award activities for externally funded sponsored projects including, but not limited to, interpreting agency regulations, facilitating submission of proposals, negotiating sponsored agreements, setting up accounts, reporting expenditures and managing audits.

Technology Accelerator for Commercialization (TAC): exists to make UC’s intellectual property available in ways that benefit the global society.  TAC helps university researchers bring their discoveries to market, and works with businesses to identify opportunities within UC’s IP library.  We are the one-stop resource for transitioning scientific breakthroughs into market opportunities.

UC Office of Research Integrity (UCORI): UCORI exists to support the generation and dissemination of knowledge by facilitating safe and compliant research and scholarship. We provide support for protocol development, review, and management; regulatory and technical training and tools; outstanding and humane animal care; we investigate allegations of research misconduct; and we serve as a referral service for areas outside of our purview. We are solution oriented and strive to be contributing partners in UC’s research and academic endeavors.
